Along with the revision of laws and regulations, a “Special Advanced Rescue Unit” with advanced knowledge, skills, and equipment to respond to large-scale disasters and accidents, was launched in April 2009.
Since the time of its launch, it has been nicknamed "SR (super ranger)" and has been active as an elite unit, such as many difficult disasters and dispatching as an emergency firefighting aid team.
At the 10th anniversary of the departure, we will pass on the history of Yokohama rescue and hold a "10th Anniversary Lecture" for the future development of rescue operations.
