In accordance with the revision of laws and regulations, a special advanced rescue unit with advanced knowledge, skills, and equipment to respond to large-scale disasters and accidents was launched in April 2009.
Since its launch, it has been nicknamed "SR (super ranger)" by citizens, and has been active as an elite unit in many difficult disasters and dispatch as an emergency fire brigade.
At the 10th anniversary of the departure, we will pass on the history of Yokohama rescue and hold a "10th Anniversary Lecture" for the development of rescue operations in the future.
