As the number of large cruise ships calling at ports and the size of container ships increase, April 1, 2019 (Monday), the “Water Fire and Rescue Unit” was born.
As a result, the submers of the water rescue squad and the members of the fire boat can work together, and the ability to respond immediately to disasters in the Yokohama Port area.
A "flection ceremony" will be held as follows to let citizens know the birth of this new unit.
