Start food drive in Tozuka Modi!

On October 1, this year, the "Law Concerning the Promotion of Food Loss Reduction" was enacted. Under this law, October is designated as “Food Loss Reduction Month” and October 30 is the “Food Loss Reduction Day”.
City of Yokohama, Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau is working to reduce food loss that is still eaten but discarded. In cooperation with Modi Tozuka of Marui Group Co., Ltd. and Food Bank Yokohama, a food bank organization that operates in the city, we will collect unused food that cannot be used at home and donate it to those who need food support or welfare facilities.

（１） October 30, 2019 (Wednesday, Food Loss Reduction Day) and Thursday, 31st
　　　11:00 to 15:00 each day
　　　Free passage on the 1st floor of Tozuka Modi (left side passage of front entrance) (Tozuka Modi: 10 Tozuka-cho, Tozuka-ku, Yokohama)

（２） November and December 2019 ※We are also considering implementing the program after 2020.
　　　2nd Saturday 11:00 to 16:00
　　　1st floor of Modi Tozuka Modi, next to Weekly Sweets, Exhibition Hall ※It is subject to change.
