Recruiting educational products using plastic alternative materials and 100% recycled plastic

　Marine pollution caused by plastics has become an issue on a global scale, and there are concerns about the impact on ecosystems. Currently, efforts are being made worldwide to solve the plastic problem, and the government is promoting initiatives such as formulating a “Plastic Resource Recycling Strategy” that comprehensively promotes plastic resource recycling. Yokohama City is also working on the formulation of the "Yokohama Plastic Resource Recycling Action Program" and is actively working on plastic measures.
　As one of the initiatives, in order to actively use plastic alternative materials and 100% recycled plastic for "enlightenment items" distributed to citizens at events, etc. We are recruiting from businesses widely. The proposals submitted will be compiled by the Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau and shared by all agencies as reference for procurement.

※Applications that have been submitted during the above period will be compiled once, but will be accepted at any time after the end.

• In general, educational products that use plastics as materials for products or containers and packaging, those that replace the materials with natural materials such as paper and wood, biomass plastics, biodegradable plastics, or those that use all recycled plastics.
• Products that can be manufactured or delivered at present, or that can be commercialized within approximately one year.
• Items subject to Yokohama City Green Purchasing do not violate the “Basic Policy on Promoting Green Purchasing in Yokohama City” and the “Procurement Policy for Promoting Green Purchasing in Yokohama City”

• Please fill out the attached proposal with required items, attach a sample or photograph of the product, and submit it by e-mail, mail, or bring it with you.
• Please make a proposal for each product.
