We are looking for educational products using 100% recycled plastic substitute material.

　Marine pollution caused by plastics has become an issue on a global scale, and there are concerns about its impact on ecosystems. Currently, efforts are being made globally to solve the plastic problem, and the government is working on it, such as formulating the “Plastic Resource Recycling Strategy” that comprehensively promotes plastic resource recycling. Yokohama City is also promoting the formulation of the “Yokohama Plastic Resource Recycling Action Program” and is actively working on plastic measures.
　As one of the initiatives, in order to actively use plastic alternative materials and 100% recycled plastic for "enlightenment goods" distributed to citizens at events, etc., we propose enlightenment articles that match the purpose. We recruit widely from businesses. The proposals submitted will be compiled by Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau and shared with all agencies for reference in procurement.

• In general, educational products that use plastic as materials for products or containers and packaging materials, those materials are replaced with natural materials such as paper and wood, biomass plastics, biodegradable plastics, or those that use all recycled plastics
• Products that can be manufactured and delivered, or are under development and can be commercialized within approximately one year.
• Items subject to the Yokohama Green Purchasing shall not violate the “Basic Policy on Promotion of Green Purchasing in Yokohama” and the “Procurement Policy for Promoting Green Purchasing in Yokohama City”.

• Please fill in the attached proposal form with required items, attach a sample or photo of the product, and submit it by e-mail, mail or bring it with you.
