In 2020, as many as 14 foreign passenger ships are scheduled to enter Yokohama Port for the first time. In addition to the Japanese cruise ship, including Yokohama Port's home port Asuka II, six ships, the first in Japan, are scheduled to arrive at the same time on May 6 during Golden Week 2020.
