Yokohama Port year breaking news of 2019 (the first year of Reiwa) was finished.
Foreign trade handled cargo volume increased for the third consecutive year to 79.95 million tons (up 1.9% year-on-year) due to strong imports.
In addition, the number of containers handled was 2.99 million (down 1.9%) in foreign trade, which was the same level as the previous year, exceeding 3 million for the first time in six years.
