The Yokohama Port Facility Ordinance was revised in October 2018, and a permission system for installation was established. This system has made it possible for private businesses to set up benefit facilities such as cafes and merchandise sales in harbor green spaces.
Therefore, in light of the opening of the New Port Wharf Passenger Ship Terminal this fall and the operation of the Minato Mirai Pedestrian Deck (tentative name) in the summer of 2020, we will conduct a sounding survey (dialogue) targeting businesses that can develop and operate cafes and recreation bases in Rinko Park (Seaside Park), which will be the starting point for walkingRinko Park (Seaside Park) toYamashita-Futo.
