On Friday, October 11, 2019, the redback spider designated as a specific alien species was confirmed in Nishi Ward (in Minato Mirai Seismic Bath). The spider is basically non-aggressive, but it has poison, so be careful not to catch or touch it with bare hands even if you find it.
