In the world, cruise ships and containerships are becoming larger, and competition over port calls is increasing. In 2020, the Olympic year, Yokohama Port will further promote the acceptance of cruise ships, the creation of liveliness in the coastal area, the enhancement of logistics functions, the early restoration of damaged port facilities and the improvement of disaster prevention capabilities, and the international competitiveness of Yokohama Port will be further strengthened.
