Completed a new high-performance logistics facility at Minami Honmoku Wharf! To further strengthen the logistics functions of Yokohama Port

　Yokohama Port, an international container strategic port, is actively working to integrate high-performance logistics facilities in highly convenient areas close to major container terminals in order to strengthen logistics functions that create demand for container cargo.
　At Minami Honmoku Wharf, three major logistics companies, including Sumitomo Warehouse Co., Ltd., have decided to construct a facility with a total floor area of more than 90,000 m2. One building started operation in November 2017, and one building started construction in September 20188.
　And this time, a new high-performance logistics facility of Sumitomo Warehouse Co., Ltd. was completed on June 14.
　The facility, which has functions such as fixed-temperature air conditioning to meet various cargo storage needs, is expected to be used as a delivery center, taking advantage of its excellent location with excellent access to the city and the Tokyo metropolitan area.
　In addition, since the facility is planning to work to improve the efficiency of distribution operations and reduce carbon dioxide emissions, it has been certified under the "Comprehensive Efficiency Plan" based on the Act on Comprehensive Efficiency of Logistics.
　The completion of MC-4 during FY2019 at Minamihonmoku Wharf will achieve a synergistic effect with strengthening international competitiveness and further strengthen logistics functions.
