It has been 13 years since the Yokohama Wind Power Plant "Hama Wing" started operation in March 2007. Hama Wing is a symbolic business of Yokohama's environmental behavior, and is operated by sponsorship from businesses and revenue from electricity sales.
Regarding sponsorship, 15 companies have provided support for Hamawing's business operations as "Y (Yokohama)-Green Partners" from FY2017 to FY2021.
In addition, we are pleased to announce that Nomura Research Institute Ltd. will be sponsoring "Y (Yokohama) - Green Partner" between FY2019 and FY2021.
We will continue to implement initiatives to promote renewable energy through Hamawing together with 16 Y (Yokohama)-Green Partners.
