In Yokohama City, in order to aim for a rich town with agriculture where female farmers can work and live vigorously, female farmers who are proactively involved in agricultural management, farm life, local activities, etc. are referred to as “Yokohama / Yume / Farmer ”.
In 2019, we certify five women as the 24th Yokohama / Yume / Farmer in 2019. From 1996 when this system started this year, a total of 128 people will be certified as Yokohama / Yume / Farmers.
