Let's learn the natural garden! Parent and child workshop

As part of the "Yokohama Green Up Plan", we will hold an event where children in the city can interact with the familiar greenery and experience it in order to promote familiar greening with parents and children and get acquainted with various greenery. Lecturer Paul Smither proposes the creation of an eco-friendly natural garden, and is also active in garden design and construction, as well as gardening and garden magazines. "Shin-Yokohama Park Meadow Garden" was designed at the 2017 National Urban Greenery Yokohama Fair. Why don't you take this opportunity to learn together with parents and children at Shin-Yokohama Park?

• Date: July 20, 2019 (Sat.) 10:00-12:00　※Rainy weather
• Capacity: 20 groups of 40 people (lottery if there are many applications)
• Target: Parents and children who live, work, or attend school in the city who are interested in familiar greenery (for elementary school students and above)
• Participation fee: Free of charge
• Lecturer: Mr. Paul Sumizer, garden designer
• Contents: Basic knowledge and how to enjoy familiar greenery, wildflower pot seedling making course, tour of Shin-Yokohama Meadow Garden Tour
