(Environment Month in June) On June 1st, the power of the entire Keikyu Line (electricity used for railways) is used by Hamawing's natural energy!

Yokohama City is promoting the wind power generation business as an opportunity for each and every citizen to take concrete actions and as part of measures against global warming through the use of renewable energy to realize the SDGs Future City.
The Yokohama Wind Power Plant “Hama Wing” is a symbolic project of Yokohama City's environmental behavior, which raises construction costs through the issuance of a municipal bond “Saikazaguruma” and a subsidy from the government. It is operated by the sponsorship of the “Y (Yokohama)-Green Partner” and the proceeds from power sales.
One of these companies, Keikyu Corporation, has been working on June 1 as an initiative in June of Environment Month, utilizing a mechanism for using renewable energy from wind power generation by sponsoring companies. Electric power for railways (*) used on all lines of the Keikyu Line will be provided by renewable energy by Hamawing.
