Overview

When elderly people are infected with COVID-19, the risk of becoming more severe, and infection can lead to an increase in deaths, an increase in the number of deaths, an increase in seriously injured persons, and a resulting tightness in the medical provision system.
Especially in facilities for the elderly, the impact of a cluster will be extremely large, so if you are planning to enter a facility for the elderly and wish to enter a facility for the elderly, the cost of the inspection will be required. Subsidize in full.

Subject to grant

Of those who meet all of the following 1 to 4, those who wish to inspect are eligible.

  1. Elderly people aged 65 and over who live in Motoichi
  2. Currently living at home, and in the future, enter a special nursing home for the elderly, nursing homes for the elderly with dementia, paid nursing homes with nursing care, nursing homes for the elderly, nursing homes, light-paid nursing homes, nursing homes, light-paid nursing homes, nursing homes, light-paid nursing homes, or use short stay services.
  3. Those who can take the test in an environment prepared by a medical institution.
  4. Those who have no symptoms such as fever suspected of being infected with COVID-19 infection
  • Inspections conducted under the guidance of a public health center, or tests conducted by doctors to deem it necessary for the treatment of patients and to which the employee health insurance applies are not eligible for this project.
  • This project subsidizes the cost of the inspection if the prospective applicant wishes to take the test. If not, it will not be eligible for the subsidy.

Number of inspections

Inspections that can be taken by this project is, in principle, once per person.
Remarks: Administrative inspections and insurance coverage are not included in the number of times

PCR test (nasopharyngeal wipe or saliva)
Remarks: Approved by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (NEAR method, SmartAmp method, LAMP method, TMA method, etc.)

  1. Yokohama City will ask the facility to be informed of this project.
  2. This project will be introduced from the facility to those who are planning to enter. If the prospective admission wishes to take the test and agrees to all the contents described in the “Application for Testing”, the facility to be admitted will be sent to the prospective applicant and his / her family from the “List of Testing Medical Institutions”.
  3. Admissions or their families will make reservations for PCR tests. ※If you want to cancel or change the reservation, the prospective person will contact the reserved medical institution.
  4. Testing medical institutions will conduct PCR tests and list all necessary items in the “test application form” (name of the test medical institution, name of the test conductor, test sample) in the “test application form”. Regardless of whether it is positive or negative, the test results will be communicated to the prospective person (or family, etc.) by telephone or the like from the test medical institution.
  5. Those who are planning to enter will report the test results to the facility they plan to enter.
  6. Testing medical institutions, etc. will attach the “Inspection Application Form” to the “PCR Test Results Report and Consignment Fee Bill”.
  7. Yokohama City will pay the commission fee through the designated financial institution based on the invoice.

Remarks: Definitive diagnosis when the test result is positive is not covered by this project.
