Introduction of Waterside

A stupid

A stupid

It is a waterfall in Gumizawa-cho, Totsuka-ku, and is also the name of Shimin-no-Mori. In this waterfall, a folk tale of Kikori and a beautiful daughter are conveyed, and a folk tale park was completed in 1987. Along with the waterfall conservation, the surrounding area has been improved.

"While Kikori's Hikoroku was cutting a tree, accidentally dropped the scream into the pool. Then a beautiful woman of the waterfall master appeared and invited Hikoroku to the waterfall garden. Hikoroku spends a few days with a woman in the waterfall garden. I promise not to say anything else when I break up from a woman. But when he broke up with the woman and went home, the house had made his three anniversary. To everyone who was surprised, Hikoroku broke his promise and talked about the waterfall. And Hikoroku died on the spot. Then it is said that this pool came to be called the abyss." (The folk tale of Masagariga Fuchi)
