Sight

Greenery can be seen in the middle stream, but as it flows through the urban areas of Konan Ward and Totsuka Ward.

Upstream is the main road from Ring Route 2 to Kaminagaya Station on the Municipal Subway, and to the south there is Nagatani Tenman-gu Shrine and a small forest that is a green landmark.

Renovation was started in 1970, and the planned renovation extension is 4.92km from the junction of the Akuwa River to Maarabashi Bridge. The river line, which is about 1.5 km from the middle stream Nekobashi to the upstream, is maintained, and the upstream from Yanagibashi flows along Route 2.

Waterside

Along with the renovation plan, a part of the old riverbed that has disappeared, about 350m from Temma Miyashita to Yanagibashi, was developed as a promenade park with a murmuring. The park is divided in some places by roads that go out to Route 2, such as Ipponbashi, but it is popular as a peaceful space on Route 2 with heavy traffic.
