In the “Law Concerning the Promotion of Smooth Movement of Elderly and Disabled Persons (Barrier-Free Law)”, municipalities are based on the basic policy set by the government, based on the basic policy set by the government. Basic approach to barrier-free

When promoting barrier-free maintenance, we will realize the maintenance of public transportation, roads, buildings, etc. that are easy for all people to use by ensuring smooth movement of the elderly and disabled. The goal is.
Each facility installation manager will work to make existing facilities barrier-free from wherever possible, after fully recognizing the concept of smoothing standards such as movement. In addition, we shall seize opportunities such as large-scale renovations, etc., and strive to comply with the standards.

What is the Barrier-Free Basic Concept

Based on Article 25 of the Barrier-Free Law, the Basic Concept for Barrier-Free is based on public transportation in areas centered on passenger facilities and areas where facilities used by the elderly and disabled are gathered (priority maintenance districts * 1). Municipalities create in order to promote barrier-free services such as roads, buildings, off-street parking lots, city parks, traffic lights, etc. We aim to make it barrier-free.
