How to use Digital Library Cards

The user number (library card number) can be displayed on the smartphone. Even if you do not carry a library card, you can borrow a book by logging in to "My Library" with your smartphone.

How to display a digital library card

1.Access the Yokohama City Library online catalog page on your smartphone and log in to My Page.

Functions of My Library (Authentication (login))

You can display a digital library card (user number) from the LINE menu. You need to apply for LINE cooperation in advance.

2.While logged in, press [Library Card] from the menu.
The barcode, user number (library card number), and the current time are displayed on the screen, and can be used in the same way as a card at the library counter.

Precautions for Digital Library Cards

  • Digital Library Cards are a function that can be used on mobile devices such as smartphones.
  • Screenshots of digital library cards (user number) cannot be used to prevent unauthorized use.
    Be sure to show the user number (library card number) and password and show the one that was displayed.
    You can also display it from the LINE menu.
  • Depending on the smartphone settings (such as enlarging the display), barcodes may be displayed in two columns.
    If you rotate the screen horizontally, it may be displayed correctly, so please check with your own terminal.
