Request an ID card at the counter

• Person with family register in Yokohama-shi can request at any ward office, administrative service corner in Yokohama-shi.

A power of attorney is not required if the spouse, parent, grandparent, child, or grandchild is requested by the person and makes a request. In this case, please indicate on the invoice that you have been requested by yourself.

If proxy/agent comes to the counter, you will need a power of attorney prepared by the person and identification documents of proxy/agent.

• Passport (passport)
• My Number Card (Personal Number Card) or Basic Resident Register Card with Photo
• Residence Card or Special Permanent Resident Certificate

Uncomputerized family register IDs cannot be given on the spot outside of Hours at the ward office.
