Requesting a partial copy of nullified family register (certificate of all matters) and a copy of the remodeled original family register at the counter

From March 1, 2024, it will be convenient to obtain family register certificates!

If you are a person listed in the same family register name field (e.g., husband and wife), you can claim it as the person.

Documents (family register, etc.) that can confirm kinship with the person listed in the name column are required.
However, if you can confirm your kinship at family register in Yokohama, you do not need to bring it with you.

A power of attorney created by the person, etc. is required.

If a third party other than the principal is the claimant, please state the reason for the request in detail. If the reason for the request is not clear, we may ask you to provide materials.
If there is no justifiable reason, a certificate cannot be issued.

• If you cannot confirm your kinship only with family register in Yokohama City, check the family register of other municipalities where you can confirm your kinship at the counter.

Remodeled original family register refers to the original family register which was created by the rewriting of family register following the change in the style and knitting standards of family register due to amendments to laws and regulations. The billing method is the same as partial copy of nullified family register or copy of nullified family register.
