Subsidies for maternity Health Checkups expenses
Yokohama City issues 14 pregnancy Health Checkups subsidy tickets are issued when issuing the Maternal and Child Health Handbook.
From April 2021, five additional tickets will be issued to pregnant women with multiple births because the number of consultations is greater than for single births.
※The target of assistance is for pregnant women who have been consulted on or after April 1, 2021.
※Even if you have already received the Maternal and Child Health Handbook, additional auxiliary tickets will be issued to pregnant women with multiple births.

Pre- and post-natal housework and childcare support
Pre- and post-natal helper dispatch business
"Pregnant women with children who have physical and mental disorders" or "Mothers who are less than 5 months after giving birth (1 year for twins or more)", there is no supporter for daytime housework or childcare. If you need assistance, you can send a helper to get housework and childcare. ※When used during pregnancy, it is limited to pregnant women raising children who gave birth to their first child.

Consultation and services after childbirth
Home visits, telephone interviews, etc.
Public health nurses and midwives from the ward of Health and Welfare Center provide consultation by home visits, telephone and interviews.
Postpartum maternal and child care business
From April 2021, the maximum number of mothers and children short stays have increased by 7 days.
For those who are worried about raising children after childbirth, you can receive maternal and child care at midwifery centers and obstetric medical institutions.
You can rest your physical and mental fatigue and learn how to raise your child while receiving advice from your midwife.
