Subsidies for Pregnant Women's Health Checkups Expenses
In Yokohama City, when issuing the Maternal and Child Health Handbook, 14 Pregnant Women's Health Checkups expense assistance tickets are issued.
From April 2021, multiple pregnant women will receive an additional 5 auxiliary tickets, as the number of consultations is larger than those for single births.
※The target of assistance is pregnant women's medical examinations received after April 1, 2021.
※Even if you have already received the Maternal and Child Health Handbook, additional assistance tickets will be issued to multiple pregnant women.

Support for housework and childcare before and after childbirth
Maternity and Postpartum Helper Dispatch Business
Because there is no support for daytime housework or childcare in "Pregnant women with children who have physical and mental disorders" or "Maternity women less than 5 months after childbirth (1 year for twins or more)" If you need help, you can get help with housework and childcare by dispatching helpers. ※If you use during pregnancy, you must be a pregnant woman who has given birth to the first child.

Consultation and services after childbirth
Home visits, telephone interviews, etc.
Public health nurses and midwives from Health and Welfare Center, ward, provide consultation by visiting homes, telephone and interview.
Postpartum maternal and child care business
From April 2021, the upper limit of the use of maternal and child short stays has increased by seven days for multiple fetus families.
For those who are worried about raising children after childbirth, mothers and children can receive maternal and child care at midwifery centers and obstetric medical institutions.
You can rest your physical and mental fatigue and learn how to raise children while receiving advice from your midwife.
