About sounding survey in "Survey on Birth Costs and Support Needs from Pregnancy to Birth"

In order to promote the creation of an environment where those who wish can become pregnant, give birth, and raise children with peace of mind, it is important to enhance seamless support from pregnancy and reduce the economic burden such as childbirth costs.

This time, we are considering conducting a survey to understand the actual situation of childbirth costs in Motoichi and the needs of support from pregnancy to childbirth.

Therefore, in order to provide a reference when considering the design of the survey, the analysis method of the results, the required approximate amount, etc., we will conduct a dialogue with the aim of seeking opinions from a professional point of view.

※The implementation of the survey will be finalized after the decision on the fiscal 2023 budget in City Counsil.

Please attach Form 1 “Entry Sheet” and Form 2 “Preliminary Hearing Sheet” to the e-mail and submit it within the period. If there are other proposal materials, the form is optional, so please submit it together.

In the past five years (from April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2022), private businesses that have been entrusted with child-rearing support and medical institutions in the national or local governments.

（１） Survey on childbirth costs for city obstetrics and medical institutions handling delivery

Survey methods for the target medical institution, draft questionnaire, survey schedule, analysis method of survey results, image of survey results, cost, method of comparison with Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare survey, etc.

（２） Questionnaire survey of child-rearing households on the needs of support from pregnancy to childbirth

Survey items, draft of survey form, survey schedule, approach to the target person, required number of specimens, method of survey results, survey report image, cost, similar survey implementation case (scale, content, cost, etc.), Efforts to improve the response rate, more efficient and effective survey methods, etc.

(1)Participation and handling of dialogue

Participation in dialogues are not subject to evaluation in business recruitment.

The content of the dialogue will be used as a reference in future discussions. However, please understand that both statements of both parties are assumed at the time of the dialogue and are not promised at all.

※This project is subject to suspension that the Yokohama City General Account Budget will be voted on by the Yokohama City Council for 2023.

(2)Costs related to dialogue
The cost of participating in the dialogue will be borne by the participating business operator.

(3)Publication of Dialogue
・About conduct result of dialogue, we announce summary on city homepages.
・Upon making an announcement, the contents will be confirmed with the participating companies in advance.
・The names of participating companies will not be disclosed.
