What is a childcare concierge?

The Childcare and Education Concierge provides information on childcare services such as Yokohama nursery rooms, temporary custody business, kindergarten custody childcare, etc., in addition to licensed nursery schools, in response to consultations with parents regarding the place of pre-school children. It is located in Children and Families Support Division of each ward for the purpose of appropriately linking parents' needs with childcare services.
The childcare and education concierge is doing this.
（1） Consultation services related to the use of childcare services
At the ward office window or telephone, etc., we will provide information such as childcare services that meet individual needs in consultation with parents who wish to take care of childcare. There are also wards that provide consultations outside of the counter, such as local child care support bases and infant health checkup venues.
（2） After-sales follow-up services for those who could not enter a nursery school
For families who were unable to enter the school as a result of applying for a nursery school, the childcare and education concierge will contact you after-sales follow-up. We will guide you to information on alternative childcare facilities while checking the childcare status and intentions at that time by telephone.
(Note) We may not contact you if you know the schedule of your child's deposit when you can not enter in the application form.
（3） Information collection services such as childcare services
We collect various information on childcare services in and neighboring wards so that we can provide timely information that meets the needs of each family in a timely manner.

It refers to licensed nursery schools, Yokohama nursery rooms, home-based childcare business, small-scale childcare business, certified child institution, private kindergarten custody childcare, temporary childcare, infant temporary custody, etc.
