Information related to radiation control in Yokohama
Last Updated October 28, 2020
About radiation dose in the city
Following the occurrence of the Tokyo Electric Power Company's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station accident in March 2011, the city measured space radiation doses at approximately 4,300 facilities under the jurisdiction of the city during FY2011.
As a result, it has been confirmed that there are no regional biases or problematic values in the radiation dose in the space where you usually live.
In addition, about space radiation dose in Yokohama-shi, we announce measurement result of radiation monitoring post (outside site) installed in municipal land of Buddha Hodogaya Ward (measured every hour 24 hours a day) from time to time I am.
