Last Updated October 8, 2024
Radiation dose from river facilities (water facilities, etc.)
- Measurement contents
Priority was given to hydrophilic bases where children play and places of activities of the waterside protection society.
General spatial radiation dose
Spatial gamma doses of 50 cm and 1 meter at the surface of the ground were measured at 1-2 central places such as hydrophilic bases.Radiation dose at locations that may become microspots
Gamma doses of 1 cm, 50 cm and 1 meter were measured at places that could become microspots in facilities such as hydrophilic bases.
- About measuring instruments
There are two types of measuring instruments used for measurement.
TCS-172B (manufactured by Hitachi Aloka Medical)
Detector NaI (TI) scintillation detector
Mr. GammaA2700 type (manufactured by Clear Pulse)
Detector CSI (TI) scintillation detector
