Last update date February 17, 2020
Radiation doses from river facilities (such as hydrophilic bases)
- Measurement contents
The measurement was given priority to the hydrophilic base where children play and the activities of the waterside protection society.
General space radiation dose
At 1-2 central locations such as hydrophilic bases, spatial gamma doses were measured at 50 cm and 1 meter above the ground surface.Radiation doses at locations that may become microspots
In facilities such as hydrophilic bases, gamma doses of 1 cm, 50 cm and 1 meter were measured at places where there could be micro spots.
- About measuring instruments
The following two types of measuring instruments are used for measurement.
TCS-172B (manufactured by Hitachi Aloka Medical, Ltd.)
Detector NaI (TI) scintillation detector
Mr. GammaA2700 type (manufactured by Clear Pulse)
Detector CsI (TI) scintillation detector

Ground height | Yokohama-shi |
---|---|
1 meter | Responses to 0.23 microsieverts / hour or more |
(50 centimeters) | (approximately 0.23 microsieverts per hour or more.) (If it is 0.23 microsieverts / hour or more, measure even 1 meter.) |
1 centimeter | Responses to 0.59 microsieverts / hour or more |
