About childhood cancer measures

The "Kanagawa Prefectural Children's Medical Center" has been designated as a "Child Cancer Center Hospital" (designated by the country) so that pediatric cancer patients and their families can receive appropriate medical care and support with peace of mind.
The Children's Cancer Consultation Support Office has been set up as a consultation desk, which provides consultation on illness and treatment, school and work, medical expenses and welfare services.

The Global Gold September Campaign is a campaign that began with the strong desire of childhood cancer patients, their parents, and experienced childhood cancer, and is being carried out worldwide. The event was held in Japan for the first time in September 2021, hosted by the NPO Japan Pediatric Cancer Research Group (JCCG).
This year's theme, "Let's Connect by Knowing Childhood Cancer! ~ Let the future of children and families fighting cancer will shine ~ ", and Yokohama City will hold a gold light-up at each facility in the city.
From 18:00 to 20:30 (planned) on Saturday, September 9th, we will broadcast implementation facilities in Yokohama and other places on YouTube!
