Last Updated October 3, 2024

What is the difference?

Appearance (external appearance) care is a word created by the appearance-related patient support team of the National Cancer Center Central Hospital (currently Appearance Support Center in 2017-2014), and medical professionals respond to changes in appearance due to cancer treatment. Care. Rather than simply returning to the appearance before change, we support the surrounding environment and the patient's feelings as well as the appearance so that they can live on their own.
A study conducted by the National Center for Cancer found that physical symptoms appear in appearance cause more distress to patients undergoing anticancer drug treatment than expected by the medical profession. As more and more people work and do housework while receiving treatment, changes in appearance often make social life difficult, such as making it difficult to meet people. Connecting society "is important.
