Yokohama City breast cancer cooperative hospital
In Motoichi, we appoint eight hospitals in the city as "Yokohama-shi breast cancer cooperation hospital".
Eight hospitals cooperate with the latest treatment and patient support, and each hospital cooperates with medical institutions in each region, thereby enhancing the breast cancer treatment system in Yokohama.

Breast cancer has a high incidence of generations who play a central role in the home and at work, and patients must continue to work and treat them while protecting their homes. To this end, patient support such as mental care for mental and social stress and appearance (appearance) care for hair loss and nail deformation are essential. In order for patients to receive treatment with peace of mind, it is necessary for various professionals such as doctors, nurses, and pharmacists to work together to improve the treatment (life) environment for patients. The Yokohama Breast Cancer Hospital aims to provide "medical care for people" that comprehensively supports breast cancer patients, and has designated medical institutions in the city and is working on it.
In addition, the Yokohama Breast Cancer Hospital will improve the convenience of breast cancer health check-up and oral treatment while sharing roles with regional medical institutions, and will also work on raising awareness for citizens on the latest treatment and patient support.

What is PatientNavigator Training Course?

This course aims to improve the quality of breast cancer treatment at Yokohama City Hospital by fostering human resources who can provide necessary support in cooperation with patients themselves or in cooperation with other occupations, and to improve the quality of breast cancer treatment at Yokohama City Hospital. .
"What is Patient Navigator...?"
Breast cancer, which occurs in generations with a large social role, requires a lot of support to provide the best treatment. Patient Navigator is a person who can be close to patients, assist in decision-making, and provide various kinds of support. In this course, we will focus only on practical contents that will be useful from tomorrow, and we are creating a program in Yokohama to help more nurses support breast cancer patients on a daily basis.
