Yamashita-Futo

Yamashita-Futo began reclaiming land in 1953 and completed in 1963 as a pier for foreign trade. It played an important role as the main wharf supporting Yokohama Port during the high growth period of the 1940s and 1940s. There are many sheds and warehouses, and in recent years it has been responsible for logistics functions that complement major piers such as Honmoku Wharf.
Currently, taking advantage of its excellent location characteristics, we are promoting redevelopment to form a new bustling base in the coastal area of the city center.
