Yamashita-Futo Redevelopment Top Page
Yamashita-Futo is located inside Yokohama Bay Bridge, in the so-called inner port area, and is adjacent to Kannai and Kangai-District, one of Yokohama's leading tourist attractions such as Yokohama-Chinatown and Yamashita Park. Taking advantage of the excellent location characteristics surrounded by a vast development space of about 47 ha and quiet waters, we will promote town development that will be a symbol of a new era driving the Yokohama economy.

History of Yamashita-Futo Redevelopment
The Yamashita Wharf Redevelopment Committee was established to investigate and deliberate on matters related to the formulation of plans for redevelopment of Yamashita-Futo.
From November 2022 to February 5, we will recruit new proposals from businesses based on the results of the previous survey, and to ask for more specific redevelopment images and introduction functions. We held an opinion exchange meeting. Click here for the results.
Organizations and universities are working together to redevelop Yamashita-Futo.
From December 2019 to June 4, 2020 Review of the future image of the Uchiko area and to formulate a business plan for Yamashita-Futo redevelopment
From December 23, 2021 to June 30, 2004, we solicit opinions from citizens via postcards, faxes, etc. and the Internet, opinion exchange meeting in the form of workshop with citizens, etc. We recruited business proposals. Click here for the results.
