　On Saturday, January 25, 2025, a mochi competition was held in Tomioka Daini District. Tomioka Daini District is a district that crosses National Route 16 around Keikyu Tomioka Station, and there are Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine and Tomioka General Park in the area. Local activities are also active, and a mochi competition is held as an exchange event for local residents. .
　The day was so prosperous that a line could be formed, and 90 kg of glutinous rice and 41 cups of mortar rice were sold out in no time. It was impressive that the people of Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations were working in harmony and skillfully with each division of roles. It seems that this day was a wonderful opportunity to participate in the traditional Japanese culture of mochi, from parents and children with children to the elderly, not only to eat but also to create a sense of unity in the community.
