Joryuji Temple

The photo above is Jotaki-ji Temple on the banks of the waterfall.
At the time of opening the port, it was devoted to the British Consulate. It is said that paints were painted in various places, including the main hall.
It was destroyed by the Great Yokohama Air Raid, but at that time there was a pine called "Tagyomatsu" hand-planted by the British Consul, and it was considered to be one of Yokohama's ten famous trees. (Published in Kanagawa-juku History Pamphlet)
