Joryuji Temple

The photo above shows Jotaki-ji Temple on the banks of the waterfall river.
At the time of the opening of the port, it was devoted to the British Consulate. It is said that paint was applied to various places including the main hall.
It was burned down by the Great Yokohama Air Raid, but at that time there was a pine called "Taigyomatsu" hand-planted by a British consul, which was considered to be the 10 famous trees in Yokohama. (Pamphlet on the History of Kanagawajuku)
