Last Updated March 12, 2021
Proceed to the mountain side along the waterfall river, you will come to Keiunji Temple. At the time of the opening of the museum, this temple was devoted to the French consulate.
Kanju-ji Temple in Urashimaoka was destroyed by the great fire of the Keio era, and a monument related to the Urashima legend was brought to this temple. Since then, Keiunji Temple has also been called "Urashima-ji Temple". It is said that when Taro Urashima went to Ryugu Castle, the Bodhisattva statue received from Otohime was transmitted.
