The main statue of Toko-ji Temple was originally the guardian Buddha of Michio Ota, but after the capture of Doo's small desk castle, it is said that Hirao Uchizen, the vassal of Hojo Odawara, gave this Buddha and created Toko-ji Temple. .
In addition, when giving the main god to Uchizen, Doi wrote a song saying, "The light emitted from the eastern country that leaves the seamounts, the light emitted is Kokomo Kawaraji", and this song is said to be the origin of the name of Toko-ji Temple.
