About evacuation in the event of storm and flood damage
Last Updated June 15, 2021
About evacuation behavior
Let's check the evacuation behavior in advance.
Consider the disaster risk around your home and the new coronavirus infection, and take appropriate evacuation actions.
Confirmation procedure for evacuation behavior
[Procedures 1]
Make sure your home is colored on a flood hazard map or landslide hazard map.
If there is no coloring at home, give priority to ensuring safety at home. If there is a color at home, proceed to [Procedure 2].
[Procedures 2]
There are four options for evacuation behavior. In evacuation sites, where an unspecified number of people may evacuate, there is also a risk of COVID-19 infection, so consider evacuation actions outside of the evacuation sites established by the government in advance.
Evacuation behavior | Remarks | |
---|---|---|
1 | Evacuation and evacuation of safe relatives and acquaintances' homes | Let's consult with you on a daily basis. Also, make sure it is a safe place on the hazard map. |
2 | Evacuation and evacuation of safe hotels, inns, etc. | Normal accommodation fee is required. Let's make a reservation in advance. |
3 | Indoor safety | Check the three conditions on the hazard map, and if the following conditions are met, it is possible to ensure safety at home. |
4 | Evacuation and evacuation of the evacuation sites established by the government | In principle, supplies and food in evacuation sites must be brought by evacuees. When evacuating, bring necessary items such as masks and food. |
Evacuation by car
When evacuating from your home to evacuation sites, which is established by the government, please evacuate on foot while considering safety.
It is possible to pick up and drop off people who have difficulty evacuating on their own by car. (However, parking is prohibited in principle, so please use a nearby coin parking etc.)
In addition, evacuation in a strong rain and wind is rather dangerous, so if indoor safety can be ensured, give priority to indoor safety.
Evacuation of pets
When evacuating with pets such as dogs and cats, be sure to put them in a cage and evacuate. If you don't have a cage, please contact Izumi Ward Office General Affairs Division before evacuation. (☎:045-800-2309)
In addition, in order to reduce the burden on pets as much as possible, consider using a pet hotel or evacuating to relatives and acquaintances' homes in advance.
※Pets that can be accepted at evacuation centers are dogs, cats, and other small animals (small birds, rabbits, hamsters, etc.).
※Specific animals (dangerous animals), animals designated as specific aliens, and similar animals, large animals, and animals requiring special breeding facilities cannot be accepted at evacuation centers for safety management.
Evacuation information and actions to be taken
Evacuation information is issued by the government by specifying the target area.
If evacuation information is issued in your area, start evacuation. .
