On Sunday, November 3, 2024, a sweet potato harvest festival was held in the field of the second schoolyard of Morihigashi Elementary School. This is an annual event organized by the Morihigashi Elementary School Youth Development Council. 80 students, parents, teachers and local people gathered and harvested a lot of sweet potatoes. More than 100 sweet potato vines were made for children's Christmas wreath workshops in cooperation with parents under the guidance of the local welfare officer. .
