"Horiwari River Cruise" was held.
Last Updated October 17, 2024
On Saturday, October 12, a `` Horiwari River Cruise '' was held to and from the Horiwari River Isogo Pier near the mouth of the Horiwari River, and 142 people experienced the Horiwari River on four flights from 9:00 to 12:00. Did.
Under the clear skies, a 40-seater boat carrying publicly recruited citizens went up the Horiwari River from the mouth of Negishi Bay, turned back at Nakamurakawa, and went around the Horiwari River in 35 minutes.
The Horiwari River, completed in 1874 as a canal for transporting goods to Yokohama Port, was crowded with many ships during the Meiji era, and along with the development of Yokohama, Negishi and Isogo Ward, it is just 150 years this year.
The Isogo Ward Office is working to create opportunities for many people to experience the Horiwari River in order to utilize the Horiwari River, one of the most valuable waterfronts in Isogo Ward, as a local asset.
This year, we plan to have a cruise to experience the Horiwari River and Negishi Bay in March. Details will be announced in the February issue of Yokohama Isogo Ward, the Isogo Ward website, and so on.
