"Horiwari River Houseboat Tour" was held.
Last Updated November 25, 2024
On November 24 (Sun), the "Horiwari River Yakataboat Tour" event hosted by the Horiwari River Attractiveness Creation Executive Committee was held. .
At 8 o'clock in the chilly morning, 39 people who had applied for a boarding place near the Yahatabashi Horiwari River began to gather and boarded the houseboat Shimakaze and waited for the departure at 9 o'clock.
The "Horiwari River Yakataboat Tour" is designed by the members of the Horiwari River Attractiveness Executive Committee, with the desire to "want to know the Horiwari River" and "want to experience the Horiwari River". We carry out every year.
Usually, we board a houseboat that travels around Minato Mirai, Yokohama Port, and Ookagawa, and go back to the Horiwari River. It's a three-hour tour to Minato Mirai, crossing Yamashita-Futo and Yokohama Port via Naka Murakawa.
At 9 o'clock in the morning, the houseboat Shimakaze sailed from the seawall of the Horiwari River under the blue sky.
On board, the members of the Horiwari River Attraction Creation Executive Committee provided guides and quizzes on "History of the Horiwari River" and "Revetment maintained after the Great Kanto Earthquake", and a fun time different from everyday life flowed .
The members of the Horiwari River Attractiveness Executive Committee are working to create the appeal of the Horiwari River so that Isogo residents can enjoy the Horiwari River, a valuable waterside in Isogo Ward. Every year, in January, we hold the "Isogo Town, People, and Horiwari River Panel Exhibition" at the Isogo Ward Hall on the first floor of the (Thu) Office. Details will be announced in the January issue of Yokohama Isogo Ward, and in the Isogo Ward website.
In addition, the Isogo Ward Office is making efforts to create opportunities for many people to experience the Horiwari River and Negishi Bay in March. Details will be announced in the February issue of Yokohama Isogo Ward, the Isogo Ward website, and so on.
