I got a motorbike from a friend. How do I proceed?

Depending on the registration status of the vehicle, please bring the following required documents (1) or (2) and complete the procedures at light motor vehicles tax (keijidosha-zei) inTax Division each ward.
(1) If the previous owner has completed the scrapping procedure for the vehicle, a transfer certificate, a scrap car declaration acceptance form, and a certificate that can confirm the identity of the submitter (driver's license, etc.).
(2)If the previous owner has not completed the procedure for scrapping the vehicle, confirm that the transfer certificate, sign (license plate), signing certificate (not required if lost) and the submitter What can be done (driver's license, etc.).
We can download light motor vehicles tax (keijidosha-zei) report and sign grant application from Yokohama-shi website.
