The owner of the motorbike has died. I want to change my name to a scrapped car or a family. What should I do?

In either case, please prepare a document that shows that the owner has died (such as death certificate), documents that show the relationship between the person who filed or transferred and the deceased (such as a copy of certificate of family register). Please file at the ward office where you issued the sign (license plate) with thing necessary for scrap car or transfer.
In the case of transfer, the heir of the previous owner must prepare a transfer certificate, etc., and prepare a copy of death certificate or certificate of family register in the same way as in the case of scrapping. Please check with the ward office of the transfer destination in advance.
※In the case of the deceased and same household, you can omit the confirmation of copies of death certificate or family register.
