Is it possible to attach a motorcycle sign (license plate) of a motorcycle to be scrapped to a newly registered vehicle (so-called body change)?

The sign (license plate) of the motorcycle to be scrapped cannot be attached to the newly registered vehicle as it is.
In Yokohama City, vehicles are identified with signs (license plates) and chassis numbers and identify taxable objects. Please understand that if the vehicle changes, the sign (license plate) will also be required.
