- Management: U.S. Army Facility Management Headquarters in Japan (Wharf Area), U.S. Navy Yokosuka Base Command Headquarters in Japan (postal area)
- (1) Wharf district
- There are large and small ship marine Bath, Nozumi, Warehouse, etc., and cargo transportation operations associated with the import and export of goods and the movement of military personnel and military personnel.

- In addition, the Ground Self-Defense Force uses approximately 1,870m2 of the building jointly.
- (2) Postal District
- U.S. Navy-related postal services from the Far East to the Persian Gulf.

- April 15, 1946
- The wharf district and the postal district were requisitioned.
- February 16, 1972
- It was designated as evacuation area.
- December 21, 1972
- The Japan-U.S. Joint Committee agreed to jointly use the Ground Self-Defense Force.
- March 14, 1973
- The Japan-U.S. Joint Committee agreed to return the motor pool.
- March 31, 1973
- A part of the restricted water area (30 meters wide and 1,046 meters long) was returned.
- February 8, 1974
- Construction of an alternative to the motor pool has been completed, and the motor pool (99,563.67 square meters) has been returned.
- March 27, 1995
- The renovation of the Mizuho Bridge has been completed and the service has started. (construction started in February 1991)
- November 24, 1995
- We applied for joint use to construct an approach road into the facility.
- December 12, 1995
- Landfill work (first phase, approximately 30,900 square meters) has been completed. (construction started on January 18, 1995)
- December 25, 1995
- Part of the water area (approximately 30,900 square meters) was returned.
- January 13, 1997
- Regular transportation of the U.S. Navy Yokosuka Supply Center, which has been relocated from Guam, has started. (The last call was not made in November 1998.)
- June 26, 1997
- Guns and vehicles were unloaded following the relocation of Okinawa's live fire shooting training to the mainland.
(After that, landings have been carried out once or twice a year.) - September 26, 1997
- An alternative warehouse for the Yokohama refrigerated warehouse was provided.
- June 18, 1998
- The Japan-U.S. Joint Committee agreed on joint use for the construction of access roads to public Bath.
- February 25, 1999
- Landfill work for public bath construction (second phase, approximately 138,000 square meters) has been completed. (construction started on May 1, 1996)
- March 31, 2000
- The Japan-US Joint Committee agreed to provide an alternative refrigerated warehouse, which is a condition for returning the Kanagawa Milk Plant.
- June 25, 2002
- The access route to the public Bath has been put into service.
- August 25, 2002
- Five U.S. Army-owned boat boats were brought into the facility for storage.
(After that, 32 boat boats have been brought in by September 2004.) - June 30, 2006
- The military and maritime transport headquarters in the Far East, which was located at the facility, has been relocated to Singapore.
- March 5, 2009
- The Japan-U.S. Joint Committee agreed to return some land and other land.
- March 31, 2009
- Part of the land (land: about 27,000 square meters, water area: about 2,500 square meters, Mizuho Bridge, etc.) was returned.
- March 31, 2021
- Part of the land (approximately 1,400 square meters) and structures were returned.
