Procedures, such as applying for certification to BIE for the 2027 International Horticultural Expo to be held at the former Kami Seya Communication Facility, are proceeding smoothly!

　On June 17, 2022, the Government of Japan submitted an application for certification of the 2027 International Horticultural Expo to the International Secretariat of the Exposition (BIE).
　In addition, at the BIE General Assembly held on June 20 and 21, the government and the 2027 International Horticultural Expo Association explained the application for certification.
　By being certified at the BIE General Assembly scheduled to be held around November this year, it will be decided to be held in the highest class (A1 class) as an international horticultural exposition based on international treaties.
