Every year, Yokohama City holds a “Town Development Seminar Utilizing History” with the aim of making citizens aware of the historical landscape and the charm of historic buildings.
This year marks the 150th anniversary of the opening of the railway. Think of Yokohama's urban development, the history of railways, and examples of town development utilizing the memories of railways, referring to valuable stories at that time and examples from other cities.
