In this fiscal year, based on the results of past fiscal years, we will conduct regular route-type regular operation on routes centered on slopes with high usage needs, and position it as the final stage for full-scale operation, analysis of demand fluctuations due to long-term operation. The period of the demonstration experiment will be one year for the purpose of increasing the number of users.
In addition, we will further improve convenience and stabilize income by expanding operating hours after the evening and introducing fixed fares, etc., when requested by users.
This demonstration experiment will be carried out as part of an effort based on the "Agreement on Promotion of Community Development for Public-Private Partnerships along the Keikyu Line (South Area of Yokohama City)" concluded by Yokohama City and Keikyu Electric Railway in April 2021.
