At 9:30 on Monday, November 28, local time, at the 171st General Meeting of BIE (Exposition International Secretariat) held in Paris, France, the 2027 International Horticultural Exposition was recognized as an international exposition based on international treaties. Was As a result, in conjunction with the approval from AIPH in 2019, it has been officially decided to hold an International Horticultural Expo in A1 class.
The Mayor of Yokohama Yamanaka Takeharu and Yokohama City Council SHIMIZU Tomio (Chairman of Yokohama City Council's Association for Successful Horticultural Exposition 2027) are here to comment on this matter.
