Since the year following the accident on December 1, 2006, City of Yokohama, Transportation Bureau has designated December 1 as Safety Day and holds the City of Yokohama, Transportation Bureau Safety Conference every year.
This year, we will take the serious subway accidents that occurred in June and August seriously, and once again, each Transportation Bureau employee is deeply aware of the safety top priority and the mission of their duties, establishing a safety culture in each workplace and ensuring the safety of transportation.
