We deeply apologize for any inconvenience to our customers and citizens since the derailment accident occurred on June 6.
Since the accident occurred, we have been working hard to recover with the great support of related companies, but at this time we have not been able to raise all derailed vehicles on the rails. In addition, it has been found that some trolleys have strains, which may interfere with the movement of vehicles. For this reason, recovery work requires more time, and at the beginning, we aimed at "resuming all lines from the first train on Sunday, June 9 with the shortest possible process", but the outlook is currently unclear. I do not stand.

1 Status of derailed vehicles and restoration work status
Of the five derailed cars, three cars (vehicles 2, car 3, car 6) were raised on the rail.
On the other hand, in vehicles 4 and 5 in the middle, the wheels sink into the ballast (crushed stone laid under the makuragi) due to severe damage to the makuragi, so the car body is tilted and approach the tunnel side wall, It is difficult to jack up because the required work space between car 4 and car 5 cannot be secured.
In addition, we are reviewing the removal method because it has been found that the trolley of Car 6 on the rail has a strain, and other vehicles may not be able to withstand transport to the depot.
In carrying out the work during this period, in addition to the staff of the authorities, JR East, Tokyu, and contractors have also cooperated very much, and a total of 650 workers are engaged.

2 Expected restoration
At this time, there is no prospect of restarting all lines.
In addition, we will provide information on the status of restoration and the prospect of restarting all lines at any time.

3 Future recovery work and necessary processes
Regarding the removal of derailed vehicles to the rails and the removal of vehicles, we will consider all possible methods while giving maximum consideration to safety so that the secondary disaster does not occur.
 (1) Raise the remaining two derailed vehicles on the rails
 (2) Removal of vehicles
 (3) Repair of damaged orbit (replacement of macragi)
 (4) Restoration of the third rail
 (5) Safety confirmation by commissioning train

4 Future Operations
The Blue Line will run back all day between Azamino and the landing.
For non-communication sections, we will continue to carry out agency transportation by bus from 5:30 am to 24:30 am (25:00 am on weekdays) by private company buses and authorities buses from Odoriba Station to Nakada Station to Tateba Station to Izumi-Chuo Station (Sotetsu Izumino Line).
In addition, due to lack of transportation capacity, we are calling for the use of transfer transportation to other company lines when going out.
