On June 6, 2019, a train from Shonandai Station bound for Azamino Station departed from Shimo-Iida Station on the municipal Subway Blue Line after leaving Shimo-Iida Station.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by the Transport Safety Commission, but the authorities have established an accident investigation committee within the Transportation Bureau to conduct detailed analysis of the cause of the accident and to consider measures to prevent recurrence.
The first committee will be held as follows.
Date and time: Monday, July 1, 2019 From 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Committee members: Deputy Director (General Manager of Management Promotion Office), General Manager, General Manager of Safety Management, General Manager, Automobile Division
※In addition, two experts from the Railway Technical Research Institute will participate as advisors.
